Fitness Classes near Lake Worth

Randa Alami B.S., NASM CPT, FNS, CES

A petite powerhouse, Alami is poetry in motion. Certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer in 2014, she has never looked back continuing her accreditation's as National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). In addition, Alami is Schwinn, STRONG by Zumba and POUND Fitness certified; she is accomplished in Bootcamp/BodySculpt/Cardio Kickboxing/HIIT/Spin classes and her Saturday morning kickboxing class is resoundingly popular and heart pounding. The importance of incorporating all muscle groups, strength, safety, and flexibility are the crux of her fitness philosophy.

Following in her father’s footsteps as a body builder, Alami has always had a passion for good health and understands the power and physicality of the body. Planning a career in medicine, Alami graduated in 2009 with a B.S. in Biological Science from Florida Atlantic University. While employed in oncology, she took on her first personal training client. She trained in the early mornings, worked all day, conducted more client training after hours, in addition to her own workout. Despite the rigorous schedule, Alami said “It was the first time in my life that everything just flowed, worked together and fit. Opportunities, creativity, ideas opened up and I finally just felt the most like myself and ‘at home.’” After five years in the medical field, and newly armed with NASM Certified Personal Trainer, she took the jump into fitness training full time and pivoted to a wellness and preventive practitioner role.

Alami’s style is warm, personal, encouraging. She is a consummate professional. Alami knows her client’s abilities and provides challenging and inspiring exercises to develop physical and mental stamina. Her exercises are anything but routine. She builds on the basic squats, lunges and planks, but adds compound movements, reps, techniques and music to keep the classes interesting, members sweating and “kraving” more. According to Alami, “a good trainer is also a great student.” She is constantly seeking new ideas and skills to embolden each class, further building strength. Alami adds, “I love fitness! Yes, it gives you an impressive physique, but, first and foremost, it instills confidence, accountability, strength, power, vigor, and quality of life.”

Boasting a roster of long-term members, Alami prides herself on client retention. Although her class work-outs are geared to advanced “U-KRAVERS,” she offers modifications for beginner and intermediate fitness clients so everyone gets a fulfilling, inclusive and strengthening work out.

In 2014, Alami opened the first U-Krave Fitness Studio in Wellington. The thriving brick and mortar business moved to the current Lake worth location in 2015–a clean, light filled space brimming with fitness fans. Throughout the work-outs, Alami is keeping pace for her members, presenting work-outs and motivating the "krew" to just keep moving! Alami taps into her client’s potential and is building strong lives for her U-KKRAVERS one jump squat at a time!
